Our Story

You could say Fung Shui started when Will’s mum was diagnosed with lung cancer — a moment that shifted everything and spurred his deep dive into healing. At the time, Will was living a high-stress life. He’d grown up on the family farm in Yorkshire, running the farm shop and pick-your-own strawberry fields with his brother, before moving into e-commerce and eventually commercial property development. It was fast-paced, high-pressure, and over the years, the stress took its toll.

His own health had been consistently unravelling. Chronic sinus inflammation, poor sleep, anxiety, a leaky gut — Will tried it all: diets, supplements, detoxes, lifestyle resets. But he needed more. Thankfully he discovered functional mushrooms.

He started with Lion’s Mane and Reishi. They didn’t work overnight, but something changed. He could feel it — his sinuses began to clear, the anxiety started to lift, and sleep slowly returned. He went deep into the research and had his mind blown, obsessively studying the science and experimenting with his own liquid extracts, crafting tinctures that he could trust that were strong and effective.

He tracked everything — sleep, mood, energy, inflammation — scoring them out of 10, day by day. Progress wasn’t perfect, but it was real and transformative.

That’s how Fung Shui was born.

Now based in West Sussex with his wife, Lucy, he has established a personal system for healing, built from experience, science, and trial and error. What started as a mission to heal his family and himself has grown into a mission to help others — with better trust, better ingredients, better strength and a deep-rooted mission to help people actually feel better.
